1) I choose the Religion theme. Huckelberry doesn’t under religion because he when Miss Watson says if you pray for something you will get it Huckelberry takes it literally. Then when Huckelberry prayed for fishing line he got it, but next the prayed for hooks and he didn’t get them; so he talks to Miss Watson again and she saysanything spiritually. So then he doesn’t see how that could help him and this shows that Huckelberry is not religious.
2) Huckelberry admires Tom because he’s smart and he is a natural leader he all ways has a plan. Huck believes every word out of Toms mouth until told wrong.
3)”Git up and hump yourself, Jim! There ain’t a minute to lose. They’re after us!” (pg. 65.) Huck says this because Huck and Jim are a team now and he has just as much consern for Jim as he does for himself.”You could easy see that something had been dragged over the ground. I did wish Tom Sawyer was there.” (pg.35.) Huck thought of a great plan to stage his murder and ditch town and it shows how much he admires Tom. “There was a cross in the left boot-heel made with big nai;ls, to keep off the devil” (pg.18) This means that Pap is back in town and this is a very bad thing for Huck and he has a hunch that Pap’s after him.
