I think that Mark Twain wasn’t racist because in his time that is what the called the African Amercian, was it right I don’t think so but I think he shouldn’t be blamed for any fault.

Satire is used in Huck Finn to make fun of peoples  actions and here’s and example of one, is when the con artists pretend to be a king and a noble and Jim believed them but Huck could see right through them. In the passage on page 125 “I will reveal it to you, for I fell I may have confidence in you. By the rights I am a Duke! Jim’s eyes bugged out when he hear that;”

Why do you think that mark twain had Huck and Jim miss the free land and not have Jim get his family?

Pg. 4  “I was in a sweat to find out all about him ; by and by she let it out that moses has been dead for a considerable amount of years then I didnt care no more.” that show that huck is only worried about what is happening now in life and not about the past.

I feel that Huck needs to think more of the past because then he won’t make as many mistakes and, that Huck will be more caring and more loving the emotions that his Pap never showed him. Cause then Huck will be able to under the bible and be easier to become more civilized.
