ENTRY #3
Sunday, March 11th, 20121. Jim: When I first meet Huck was when he was with Widow Douglas. Then when Huck got “killed” I ran off that night, because Miss. Watson was going to sell me to New Orleans. Then I woke up and The ghost Huck Finn was right in front of me so I screamed, but then he told me that he faked his death and he is actually alive. After that happen me and Huck started our journey together. I really enjoyed my journey with Huck Finn to find the free slave state of Cario. Huck and me have been pretty good friend on our journey. We went threw so many good and bad thing . I got really mad when Huck put the snake skin on my bed, it brought the bad luck to me. Then me and Huck got separated and Huck told me it was all a dream, but then he finally told me that if was not actually a dream it really happened. Huck and I have been threw a lot together and we are going to be friends forever.
2.“Saying them words put a good idea in my head. I see how maybe I could get me and Jim rid of the frauds; get them jailed here, and then leave.” Why did Huck decide to get rid of them now?

Sunday, March 4th, 20121) I searched “what was mark twain’s childhood like?” I wanted to find out how Mark Twain’s childhood compared to Huck’s. In this blog, it says
that Mark as a child would roam around with his little friends. he had a crew of friends and did very similar things that Huck would do. My
thought is that Huck was based off of some activities that Mark Twain did. http://www.shmoop.com/mark-twain/childhood.html
2) This book sometimes makes fun of human intelligence. While being a lighter subject on insult, it still pokes fun at peoples’ spelling or
grammar. A particular instance where Mark Twain makes fun of spelling is when Huck first meets Buck Grangerford. The passage is as follows:
“Can you spell, Buck?”
“Yes,” he says.
“I bet you can’t spell my name,” says I.
“I bet you what you dare I can,” sasys he.
“Alright,” says I, “go ahead.”
“G-o-r-g-e J-a-x-o-n—there now,” he says.
3) “I hadn’t had a bite to eat since yesterday, so Jim he got out some corn-dodgers and buttermilk, and pork and cabbage and greens—there ain’t nothing in the world so good when it’s cooked right.”
Huck Has eat in a day so he is mostly eating what every Jim is giving him and everything seems so good right now to him.
Question: Why would of Huck of eaten today?

Sunday, February 26th, 20121a) The theme I choose was superstition.
1b) “You said it was the worst bad luck in the world to touch a snake with my hands.”
1c) The passage is saying that Jim is very superstitious in the way that that is what he believes in.
2) Tom influenced Huck because is like the leader of his groupand his role model. “They agreed to get together and fix a day soon as they could, and then we elected Tom Sawyer first captian….” the quote is saying that they think Tom should be the leader of the group.
3) Passage: “It’s a dead man. Yes indeedy; naked, too. He’s ben shot in de back. I reck’n he’s ben dead two er three days. Come in, Huck, but doan’ look at his face- it’s too gashly.” (pg. 86) The significance of this passage is that it could possibly Pap that is dead. It could be him, because their were whisky bottles all over the floor, that is what Pap drinks.
4a) Do you think that Jim and Huck areactually friend? why or why not?
4b) Do you think Miss. Watson miss Huck? Why or why not?
