Mustafa’s Presentations from Friday

January 23rd, 2012 by Mustafa Hardan

The Presentation was about jobs, and how you get it.  It was like to get a job what should wear  on that day, and what you should be doing, and how you talk to the man who’s meeting you on that day.  You can wear a suit and go, so it looks more like you’re preparing for your new job, and how you talk like using really good words.  One of the good things that you should not do in the interview is to not have your phone during the interview.

I have a job and I have been there for a year and a half and I like it a lot. When I had my interview I went properly dressed. I had dressy pants and a nice shirt. I also made a good impression by showing up a little bit early. Also on facebook I don’t have bad pictures and my stauts’ I try not to curse in them because two of my mannagers have a facebook page and they can check anytime they want.

The interview to get a job is so important, therefore you should: dress well, not text and don’t have a cellphone, be respectful, have recommendation letters, have an appropriate e-mail address and profile on Facebook. Jess: Presentation From Friday

January 23rd, 2012 by Jesmary Guzman

On Friday, I learned that when you go out to a job interview, you should use your manors and say nice to finally meet you sir/ma’am.  I also learned that when you give them your email address to contact you should have it be ( SmithJohn@Example.com ). If you have an email saying ( iamlazy@gmail.com) your boss will see you as a joke. When going to an interview you should also be dressed appropriately. Female : Skirt to the knees , A white dress shirt , or Dress . Nooo ! Jeans

Male: Nooo Jeanss !!!

On Facebook you should have appropriate pictures of yourself and no bad language.

Arcelis’s presentation from friday

January 23rd, 2012 by Arcelis Taveras-Paulino

A way to get a job for sure is giving a nice first impression by wearing good clothes. When you’re talking with the employer have eye contact with them that way they’ll know if you are sure of what are you saying or not. Turn off your cell phone and don’t worry about anything just think on what are you going to say.  Relax and be yourself.

Friday I learned a lot about jobs that I didn’t know it was really helpful information. For example he told us about what employers might think about the person who they interview. And he mentioned about Facebook I didn’t really think any of the employers might go and look at the Facebook profile picture.

Jorge’s commonalities

December 16th, 2011 by Jorge Mora-Gonzalez

All of them were leading big groups of people, and their purposes were to help the people, and make projects to improve a better way to life. Each of them were interested in assuming hard roles with the purpose of  looking for a new future where the liberty of thinking,  racism, and independence becomes from a far dream to a close reality. They had the support of the nation, and they receive a great confidence from their people, to perform a better job every day. Finally, all of them are recognized worldwide because they left behind their own life to make of the country’s  dreams come true.

Hazem’s commonalities

December 16th, 2011 by Hazem Elsalhy

the four leaders were Abraham Lincoln ,George Washington,Martin  Luther king and Franklin Delano Roosevelt were giving speeches about giving freedom for everyone and trying to make everyone equal no matter id they are black or withe poor or rich and where they are from . And the most impotent thing about the speeches they gave is when everybody body is equal and they get treated the same we will live in a better world and have a better future for everybody ,so instead of being raciest to anyone because they are from another country or black or whatever that is not going to get us anywhere in life we will just keep fighting about it so it will be better for all of us to be treated the same .
