I agree with Noah that the Yankees will make it to the playoffs but lose their first series. Most teams that have a great year, but not doing well the next. The Phillies however are not one of these teams. I’d say the Yankees are in the middle.

Noah, I do know about Norse Mythology and I’d like to recommend another Norse Mythology book. It’s called Legends of the North. This book is Written by Olivia E. Coolidge. This book has tales about the Northern Gods, Volsungs, and Northern Heroes.

Does anyone out there know any Norse Mythology? If you want to learn more, a great book to read is Children of Odin. It tells the famous stories that the Norse people made.

The Titans Curse
Report by Hoa

This book is written by Rick Riordan. I chose this book because I read all the the other books in the series. This book is mainly Percy discovering Thalia Zeus’s daughter and helping the Goddess Artemis of her burden of holding the sky. My most favorite part in the story was when Dionysus caught Percy and his Pegasus Blackjack at a ledge and let them go – very much unlike Dionysus in the series. I was confused at a part when Annabeth helped Luke after all that he did to her and Percy. I would rate this book a 9 and recommend this book to any body who likes treacherous adventures and Greek mythology.

Philadelphia will easily win their division this year. I think Roy Halladay will have at least 200 k’s this season. He’s been a great pitcher in the past and he will be this year. Also Cliff Lee will have a good season and about 170 k’s.

Also look for The Red Sox to do well this year. I was reading my brothers copy of Sports Illustrated and they predicted that the Red Sox would win it all against the Phillies. They think they’re so great with Carl Crawford and Big Papi. Carl Crawford is great at stealing bases and Big Papi can smack some but he strikes out alot. For them to win against the Phillies, Carl Crawford is going to have to play his absolute best. I really don’t think Boston could pull off a win against the Phils because of their aces.

Hoa, Ryan Howard is not a pitcher, although he is probably their best slugger. They also have a good line up with Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley. Joe Blanton is probably their worst pitcher. Even though he is good, batters will be relieved when they get to bat against him. I’d say out of all their pitchers Roy Halladay is best, Cliff Lee 2nd, and Roy Oswalt 3rd. I hope Cole Hamels has a good year this year like he did in 2008.

I’m very happy the Philadelphia Phillies won the New York Mets 11-0. The New York Yankees won Minnesota 4-3. I’m watching Washington against Florida 3-3 bottom of the 9th. I’m also watching Detroit against Baltimore, Baltimore-8 Detroit-5. I agree with Noah that the Phillies will win it all. I want to just say Noah forgot to list Ryan Howard if I’m not mistaken.
