1.  Make sure your comments are always school appropriate

2.  Be respectful of other people’s ideas and blogs.  I encourage you to write comments to other people’s blogs but do not put down someone’s ideas.  You may disagree with their idea in your comment but always be polite and use constructive criticism.

Mustafa Silent Language

March 28th, 2012

My Silent language is when i sit on the desk i put ma feet on the legs of the desk because that’s how i get comfortable sitting on the desk.  Like i heard people think differently about me when i sit like that in the class. But i don’t mean anything while sitting like that. I just get comfortable sitting that way.

My feeling  regarding of 9.11 is sad. When I first heard about 9.11 my 6th grade  ESL teacher told me what happened. That was the first time I heard about the 9.11. I alway remember when my I saw the video on youtube. I will remember 9.11 10th anniversary through the people who died on 9.11.

Asiya Mirzayeva Reflection

April 26th, 2011

My favorite part about doing this project is finding information about people because its interesting to find out about others lives.  My least favorite part about doing this project is recording because it is hard for me to pronouns the vocabulary. I choose the Voicethread because it is easier for me to do that than doing Glogster.  In Glogster, you have to create things and I  am not good at creating things.  It is hard for me to talk in front of a large group of people. This project give me opportunity to talk around  people  with out talking around them.I learned best by seeing things.  This project helped  by seeing the research and reading the research. From the class presentation my favorite project was Glogster because I saw so many interesting pictures about authors.  Overall I liked doing this project  because it was interesting to see the lives of all the different authors.

WennaLiu Reflection

My favorite part of this project and research is we learned a lot of thing on the project we learn about how to create a Glogster you can make you own style on. My least favorite part of project and research is we have to read a lot and think a lot.  I chose Glogster, because I like to create thing and I can make thing I like. This project make me remember more, because I talk form everybody have to be serious.Tony’s project is my favorite one, because he has very clear voice and good presentation. This project has a lot research to do,and read a lot information, and I didn’t like.

Phong Tran’s Project Poetry Reflection

April 26th, 2011

My favorite part about doing this project and research was finding the pictures because during finding the pictures, I saw many kind of pictures  that related to my poem and its poet. My least favorite part about doing this project and research was typing information to Glogster because it took a lot of my time and it was hard to check spelling. I chose the Glogster project because it helped develop my creative skills. This project helped me to present information in a way that I learn best because I got the information and could group it in my own way to help me to present easier. From the class presentations, my favorite project was mine because I believe that my project is the best. Throughout this project, I had learned a lot of things about poetry and it made me understand more about poetry.

My favorite part of this project was working on the computers I think is better and easier to work on the computer. I didn’t like when I had to put all the picture in noodle tools because it takes too much time to do that. I chose Glogster because you could be more creative with your project. This project did not help me to show anything in a new way. I liked both Phong’s and Tony’s project, because they showed a lot of information. This project was good but way to much work for the end of the year

Tony Vu’s Reflection

April 26th, 2011

My favorite part of this poetry project was recording my voice because it is easier than standing in front of the class. My least part was finding the pictures because the pictures were hard to find and make citations. The reason why I chose the Voice Thread project because then I didn’t have to stand in front of the class and teach them about my Poet. The project help me present my information because it showed the students a voice with information and then it had a picture to show you what the information is relating to. From my classes presentation my favorite one was Phong’s project because it had a lot information and he had the poem that I orginally wanted to do. I hope we can do this project again because I would try the other project, so I can try new things.

If I had one single wish
Id go back to the moment I kissed
You goodbye no matter how hard I tried
I can’t live without you in my life

Maybe you’ll say you still want me
Maybe you’ll say that you don’t
Maybe we said it was over
Baby I can’t let you go

I walk around to understand
Where we went wrong and I can’t pretend
It wasn’t me, it wasn’t you
But I’m convinced we gave up too soon

Maybe you’ll say you still want me
Maybe you’ll say that you don’t
Maybe we said it was over
Baby I can’t let you go

Nothing left to lose after losing you
There’s nothing I cant take
When I run to you, when I come for you
Don’t tell me I’m too late

Maybe you’ll say you still want me
Maybe you’ll say that you don’t
Maybe we said it was over
Baby I can’t let you go

2 sentences

i like that song because its kinda like a quite song

Phong’s Poetry Reflection

March 21st, 2011

I really don’t like writing poetry  because It always follow many rules. The easiest thing for me when writing poetry is I can write anything I want in the poem and the most difficult thing is the rhyming words because it makes me spend a lot of time to find those rhyming words. I like writing the free verse poem because it’s easy to write and it doesn’t have rhyme.
