I liked this project. My favorite part of this project is when i got to present in front of the class. My least favorite part about this project was the researching part. I didn’t like that part of that project because it took most of the time from the rest of the project and it was hard fr me to concentrate. I chose the glogster project because I knew it would be fun to Present in front of this lovely class. yes it did because it helped me gather information and organize them wall. I liked Dalinas project because she told us during her presentation, that her poet marred his cousin and i thought that was very interesting. i would like to know if we are going to do a project like this again because I liked this project

Dalina Nguyen’s reflection

My favorite part about doing this project is making my glog, adding pictures, adding texts, and finding images that you like to add onto the glog profile. My least favorite part about this research project was trying to find information about the poet. I chose the glogster project because I thought it was pretty cool, and I could be creative and put things on the glogster that I enjoyed. The project helped me out in a way that I could understand what I’m doing and help me be organize and so that presenting projects wouldn’t be boring. From the class presentations I liked the project glogster the best because it lets people express themselves and makes presenting projects not so boring. I think you should use this website often because I think maybe other people would enjoy it also.

Lynn’s Reflection

April 18th, 2011

My favorite part about this project was the decoration of my Glogster. Because it was fun and we can decorate the way we want it. My least favorite part was the research, because it take too much time looking for information and putting it on the Noodle Tools. I chose the Glogster because it was so much fun and colorful. This project really help me to present it because I just put a couple words and then when I presented I explained what I meant. My favorite project from the class were all of them because they explained and decorated really good, so I don’t have especial one, because I like all of them. I like Ms. Winiarczyk to know that this project was really good but it took too much time. Can take less time by hurrying the student to do the work on time.

Mehretu’s Poetry Reflection

March 23rd, 2011

I don’t like writing poetry, because every person have talent. so my talent is not writing poetry. There are many people who talented in poetry. some people write like amazing poem. That means poems are  their talent. so I’m not good with writing poetry. The easy part of poetry is to write free verses poem. because free verses don’t need rhyming words. The difficult part is when you write sonnet poem. because sonnet poem needs rhyming words. May be I would like to write free verses. because free verse poems are not difficult like rhyme scheme or sonnet. what I mean by that is when you write free verse poems you don’t have to use rhyming words. you can just write something about yourself  or something you would like to write.

Dalina’s Poetry Reflection

March 14th, 2011

I always liked writing poetry and I still do. I like writing poetry because it expresses how you feel and you can write about anything you want and you can choose what type of poetry you would want to write the poem as.  The easiest part of when I write a poetry would be choosing what to write the poem about like I always choose to write about love. The difficult thing for me when I write a poem is when find words to rhyme.  I like writing the sonnet better than writing a free verse because I like a poem that rhymes and you can be more creative with rhyming words and for me, when I write a free verse it gets boring and its more like a story than a poem.

Arianna’s Poetry Reflection

March 14th, 2011

This is my poetry reflection…

I like to write poetry because you expresses how do you feel. For me is more easy when having free topic because I have more ideas. The most difficult thing about writing poetry is the rhyme like sometimes not have the special word for end the sentences. I like to write the free verse poem more because it doesn’t rhyme and you can write what you want.

Lynn’s Poetry Reflection

March 14th, 2011

I like poetry so when I read them I feel relax and love comes to my mind. The easiest thing about writing poetry is when I have an idea of what I’m going to make my poem about. The most difficult thing about writing poetry is that some times like in a sonnet poetry you have to match words at the end of each sentence. I like free verse better because I can write any thing, I can express my feelings and the words it doesn’t have to match at the end.

Read through the blogs on songs.  Find your favorite and make a comment about it.  Once you have commented on someone elses song, write a paragraph reflection on writing poetry.  Do you like writing poetry?  Why or Why not?  What is the easiest thing for you when writing poetry?  What is the most difficult thing about writing poetry?  Do you like writing the free verse poem or sonnet better?  Why did you like that?
