Our Happiness Project

Welcome to Our Happiness Project.  Although 84% of Americans rank themselves as “very happy” or “pretty happy,” most people agree that they would still like to be “happier” (ie they want to be more appreciative of the things they have).  According to The Happiness Project (G. Rubin), contemporary research shows that happy people are more altruistic, more productive, more helpful, more likable, more creative, more resilient, more interested in others, friendlier, and healthier.  Happy people make better friends, colleagues, and citizens.  What’s wrong with wanting to be a better version of who you already are?

In this blog, we will set individual and group goals as we uncover the secrets to happiness.
